Inuit Performance Collective
Artcirq, founded in 1998, is an Inuit performing arts collective based in Igloolik, Nunavut, that bridges traditional Inuit culture with modern artistic practices, creating meaningful and original work.
“More than just a performance group, Artcirq is a lifeline and a source of hope for many Inuit youth … it’s a powerful example of how art can heal, empower, and connect generations, keeping culture vibrant while helping youth feel seen, valued, and inspired.”
– Edith Auksaq, Artcirq member and Blackbox Director
